Victor Hugo

What is Printmaking?

The field of art concerned with the transferal of ink or paint from a plate or block or through a screen mesh to paper. The original drawing and plate are not the work of art. The work of art is the Print itself.

Why Should I Take this Class?

This class will give you the chance to create art in a new way. You will experience new techniques that will give you a wide variety of visual effects. Whereas drawing, painting and ceramics all end with one finished product, printmaking allows you to have multiple works of art at the end of the process.
